Short Summary: Tools to help create Complete Streets! Learn how walkability assessments bring residents, policymakers and communities together to reach consensus on priorities for community change and get a foundation in the pedestrian redesign toolbox.

  • Alexis Lantz, MA Candidate '10 Urban Planning UCLA School of Public Affairs, facilitator of SRTS & walkable design interactive toolbox workshops with Ryan Snyder & Associates
  • Greenfield Walking Group is a Latino community walking group, and national model for resident empowerment peer learning
  • Deborah Murphy is Chair of LA Metro's Pedestrian Advisory Committee and well known for walk audits, walkable landscape architecture projects and walk audit transportation planning requirement policy.
  • Jennifer Lopez is a renown community change and empowerment advocate with CCROPP Kern on the Move.
  • Rhianna Babka, MSW, MPH, is school and community walkability assessment workshop facilitator with California WALKS and SafeTREC CPSTete Streets, HTN and Older Americans Access to Transit.
