As part of the host commitee for the Los Angeles Bike Summit, UEPI will be raising funds to promote and conduct the summit, and to write a follow-up report detailing the results of the summit and recommendations for next steps. Funds received will be used to support UEPI staff time and administrative costs, consultants in the bike community, stipends to bike organizations for promotional assistance and expenses directly related to the event and report. Please feel free to review the working budget.

Funds for the summit will be raised via sponsorship. The sponsorship packet details the purpose of the summit, participating organizations and sponsorship levels. Sponsors will have a presence at the summit, however, the pre-summit mini workshops, summit agenda and speakers will be determined by bike and health advocates, community members and grassroots organizations through a collaborative planning process.
