Presenter bio:
Haling from the diminutive State Of Connecticut and now a Citizen of Portland, Oregon, Shawn Granton is a freelance artist, zinester, activities coordinator at the HI-Portland Hawthorne Hostel (say "hi" if you visit!) and bicycle activist who leads events under the title of the URBAN ADVENTURE LEAGUE.

Founded in 2004, the Urban Adventure League hosts various events that explore our urban environment using feet, bicycles, and public transit. All Urban Adventure League sponsored events and projects emphasize fun, de-emphasize competition, and foster connectivity and awareness.

You can check out Shawn's art at his sito page. He also has a regular bi-monthly comic for MOMENTUM MAGAZINE, a cool free magazine documenting bicycle culture around the world.
