Short Summary:
The City of Los Angeles has over 6,500 miles of streets, and for too long the focus has been on moving vehicles, not people. Recent efforts have been undertaken by the City to change its existing car-centric street standards to include pedestrians, cyclists and other user groups. Hear about and discuss the latest efforts to develop a better toolkit for use by policymakers and citizens to improve the public realm for all users of our streets.
